Cardiology

Cardiology Department is a department where all fields of cardiological clinic and laboratory studies are carried out, and diagnosis and treatment methods are applied.

In our hospital, within the cardiology department, there is a coronary intensive care unit, angio diseases follow-up, patient follow-up, cardiology polyclinic and a laboratory where non-invasive tests (ECG, Cardiac Stress Test, Echocardiography, etc.) take place.

Cardiology

  • Hypertension Early Diagnosis and Treatment
  • Tachycardia (Holter Monitor) and Blood Pressure (Ambulatory Blood Pressure) Follow-Up
  • Tightening of the Chess, ECG with Stress Test, Cardiomegaly, Shortening of the Breath, Echocardiography, For Stenocardia and Cardiac Muscle Dysfunction; Myocardial Perfusion Scintigraphy, Diagnosis with Angiography Prior to Heart Attack

Electrophysiologic Study and Ablation

By doing electrophysiologic studying of the patients with tachycardia, we can detect the focus or the hidden transport passages causing the problem. We call the elimination of such focus and hidden transport passages by burning them with special catheters that emit radio-frequency waves, ablation.

Permanent Pacemakers and ICD

Pacemakers are specialized devices made for creating and organizing the heart’s rhythm. As well as being used in the treatment of disorders arising from the heart beating too slow, arrhythmia can also be treated not only with pacemakers, but also with antitachycardic pacing, auto-shock devices, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICD). Some pacers are developed specifically for cardiac deficiency and all specialty pacers can be successfully implanted in our laboratories.
