About Myself

I was born on August 26, 1964 in Sivas. I am the son of a native family of Sivas. My father’s side is Bezirci Mahallesi; My mother is settled in Çavuşbaşı Neighborhood. I went to primary school at Ülkü Primary School. I completed Ülkü Primary School in the time of Handan Hanım, the rare female headmistress of the Republic of Turkey. I went to secondary school in 4 Eylül Secondary School. I completed my high school at Sivas High School, which is an education center throughout Turkey. I received my university education in Sivas again. In 1987, I graduated from Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine (CUTF) as the top of the faculty. After my compulsory service, C.Ü.T.F. I was appointed as a research assistant in the Department of Internal Medicine. I founded the Chronic Kidney Patients Association in Sivas in 1989 and I was the chairman of the association until I left Sivas. I became an Internal Medicine Specialist in 1993. In 1993, finding it necessary to do a second specialization, I left Sivas. I started my specialization in Cardiology at Turkey Yüksek İhtisas Hospital, which is Turkey’s rarest hospital on cardiovascular diseases education, and completed my residency in 1995. Immediately after S.S.K. I started to work as a Specialist Dr at the Dış Kapı Training and Research Hospital.

In the same year, I transferred to the Specialization Hospital of the S.S.K. and took active roles as the unit administrative supervisor in the establishment of the Cardiology Department units. I became Associate Professor of Cardiology in 2003. In 2006, I took a high level spoken English training at a language school in England for six months. In February 2008, I started to work as an Associate Professor at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University (AİBU) Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiology. I became a Professor at the same University in October 2008. Since 2008, I have been the head of the cardiology department for 3 years. I left AİBU Cardiology Department in 2011 and I am still working in a private hospital in Ankara. I have been working as an Interventional and Clinical Cardiologist since 1993. I have high clinical experience in almost all areas of Interventional Cardiology. I made a Cardiac Rehabilitation Hospital Project at the request of the AİBU Rectorate of the previous term. I have experience in the clinical and administrative working principles of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Hospital. I made presentations to our people, physicians and various non-governmental organizations for the purpose of establishing Preventive Health System Policies in the world and in Turkey. Assoc. Dr. I was a founding member of the Turkey Party founded by Abdüllatif Şener and a member of the MKYK, and I pioneered the formation of the party’s Health Programs. Literature is my field of interest. I still have a story book published in the field of literature.

 

Currently, I have two chapters in the book titled “This Is Not Medicine 1 and 2”, which is a collective work in which the established health system and policies in our country are criticised, and the boundaries of populist health policies are determined. I have a fiction novel called “I, Avicenna” under review. I am among the writers of some newspapers doing Internet Journalism and I regularly write political articles. I am the mother of a boy.
